There is an unprecedented spike in demand for certain vehicle types. 

The current stop/start nature of lockdown restrictions being lifted, and then extended, combined with the stamp duty holiday allowing buyers to save up to £15,000 on property purchases ending on 30th June, has added a lot of uncertainty and pressure on the vehicle hire and logistics industry.
